My Story
Since early childhood, I have had a passion for creative storytelling. Whether it manifested into writing songs and poems for myself, or creating short stories for my 3rd grade teacher to read to the class (seriously), storytelling embedded itself into my nature and my motivation. This passion followed me even when I went to university and began pursuing a business degree. After declaring an entrepreneurship major, I also chose a minor that would most closely align with the creative and inspiring aspects of business: marketing.
As I delved further into the business (and adult) world, I originally felt as if I had to leave that creative part of myself behind. In this new mindset, I didn’t think that there would be room for both my newfound business expertise and my creative-writing passion.
Now, I know better.
After graduating with my BBA and gaining work experience in the retail, corporate, and startup worlds, I realized that I could do more. By combining my love of creative storytelling with my marketing background, I could incorporate all of my passions into a fulfilling line of work that would allow me to help multiple entrepreneurs improve their businesses.
Thus, The C Perspective came to fruition. The C Perspective focuses on what I like to call the "creative" side of marketing: brand voice, content, copywriting, social media, and more. It’s an all-encompassing approach to telling the story of your business, and goes further in three key ways: looking at your brand through the lens of your target audience, assessing your current marketing tactics to find opportunities for improvement, and creating a cohesive brand strategy to carry out across multiple platforms.
